Thurs. Last Day of 2009

Ah. It was a mighty good choice to pick Thursday. Why? I get to blog for the last day of 2009. Awesome. Anyway, about the question. New Year's Resolutions?


1. Finish up all homework before school starts


Wow. This is difficult. You see, I'm a person with little to no expectations. I don't do well with resolutions because I usually don't set goals for myself. This is asking a lot of me. But I'll try.


2. Keep my room clean
3. Get at least a 4 on the AP World exam
4. Get more New Year's Resolutions
5. Master Halo over the summer


Alas, five resolutions. That's good enough for me. So there was this huge spider in here two seconds ago. But it's ok now. I ran into my mother's room and forced her to kill it. It now resides in the garbage can outside. Anyway, this is it. This is the last day of 2009. Can you believe it's over already?! Seriously. Pesky time warps. Always get in the way of everything. But seriously. It's the last day of 2009, and here are some words of advice: Just sit down, relax, and bask in the glory of 2009. This might be a very memorable year for you. You might have done something awesome or met some people that you'll never forget. You just don't realize it yet. But you will. And when you look back, you'll think, "Whoa, 2009 was the year I ________" So in the words of Ted Mosby [How I Met Your Mother], "My parents live in Ohio. I live in the moment" So just live in the moment and think, things will never be the same again. VIVIAN OUT.

Wed. 2010!

This will be the last Wednesday before break ends and the last Wednesday of 2009. Haha wow, It really hasn't hit me yet that 2009 is coming to an end. My 2009 wasn't all that bad or all that good but it was fun. Tried new things, made new friends and learned some things. Haha, Anyways a new year = a new start and that calls for my
New Years Resolutions:

1. Be optimistic through hard times
2. Try just a little bit harder in school
3. Help my mom out with some chores on my free time
4. Attempt to read the dictionary
5. Stress a little less
6. Bring my tumblarity to at least 500 before I quit
7. __________ ! (that will just be my secret)
8. Procrastinate LESSSS


and that concludes my New Years Resolution. Haha, Wow watched Avatar today, it was a pretty good movie; it had a good plot. The movies still stuck in my head so I'm probably going to be thinking about Avatars and magical creatures for the rest of the night. I hope 2010's going to turn out good and I hope everyones having a blast during this 2 week vacation. I'm off to watch Forgetting Sarah Marshall!

Tues. Raise the Roof!

Hiya, guys. Well, I have so many things I need to do today, so this isn't gonna be that long. Christmas was great and I'm super sad that Winter Break is almost over. I still have tons of homework which I plan on attempting to finish today so I'm just about free the rest of break. Uhm, so...Yeahhh. 

My New Year's Resolutions would be: 

1. Focus more on school work, especially English.
2. Be less sarcastic. Apparently, my sarcasm offends some people. (I kid, y'all, I kid.)
3. Blog everyday on my personal blog, which I have failed to do.
4. Procrastinate less.
5. Of course, to fulfill my New Year's Resolutions.

Yeah, that's all I can think of. I'll add more if I can, Idk. But, 2009 was a pretty good year for me. Whoa, 2010. We're hitting the double digits. Amanda's right. It'll be a fresh start and I hope people change for the better and not for the worse, if they do feel the need to change. The other day I realized that we're almost out of high school. It literally just hit me when I was watching The Little Rascals. I can't believe it. I feel so old! But, at the same time, I'm glad I'm gonna be on my own soon.


Anyways, I have to get going on my errands. Adios, amigos! (It's supposed to be amigas, but it doesn't sound as cool as amigos. :P)

Mon. "So I'll Shut Up Now."

YARR! Oh golly, it's Monday again. You know what that means.. ;D
Yes, party in ya pants. Haha, so this week's questions was: What are some of your New Year's Resolutions?
To be quite honest, this is the most difficult question I answer every year, part of the reason being that I can never complete all of them. (darn) But this year I will try. This year my resolutions include the following:
1) Survive school & not get screwed over for Junior year
2) Go hardcore swimming in the summer
3) Learn to make those friendship bracelets

4) Something I don't plan on telling you stalkers :)

That's as much as I can think of so far. Pretty reasonable, right? Hopefully I'll be able to proudly say I accomplished 3/4 of those things I mentioned above. :P Come to think of it, these resolutions make me scared for 11th grade. Lowell gives you many new fears. Death included. Haha but yeah, I can't wait for New Years. It'll signal a new, fresh start. Hopefully things will run smoother than they did in 2009.

SO, how was everyone's Christmas? Mine was pretty damn fun because I made sushi, played MW2, shopped, and uh, yawp! :D Also, New Years is coming so there'll be some hardcore celebrating toooo :D I'm getting distracted, so I'll shut up now. Tooodles.

Sunday Shuffle: Numero DOS!

Hey Hey Hey, It's Cindy aka Tuesday! So, once again it's Sunday which means Sunday Shuffle time! So, I spent all of yesterday trying to come up with a good question for you guys and I came up with a pretty awesome one. But, by the end of the day, I realized that 2010 is right around the corner. So, I thought, "It wouldn't be New Year's without a New Year's related question." Therefore, I have the oh so generic question for you guys: What are some of your New Year's Resolutions?

Good question right? It's perfect for this week. I know it's boring, but you will get to hear my awesome question when the Sunday Shuffle shuffles back around to me. Also, This Friday is January 1st, which means another Monthly Mission! I hope you guys are ready for it. Some of you know and some of you don't, but I assure you, it's a good one. :D Totes mah goats!

Fri. It's Cold Outside.

Huh? It's Friday already?  Wow, time flies by so fast. It's finally Christmas! So, MerryChristmas everybody! I hope you have a great day with your family. And food. And presents. Yeah. I started out my Christmas day with some 88 Rice Bowl Chicken Katsu. I don't know if waking up that early was worth it. We were supposed to eat at Todai, but there was a hella long line, so we had to go to 88 Rice Bowl. Ahh, I the so sad. But after, I had to walk all the way back home. In the freezing cold. But that was alright, I guess, that place was only like a little more than 10 blocks from my house. -feels like strangling somebody-

Anyways, before I strangle another little kid. Yesterday, on our BBB feast day, I guess you all heard what I made. Yes, I made wontons. I had to represent what I am. And besides, that's all I knew how to make, other than instant noodles, but do those count? The insides of the wontons had meat, chong (i don't know what that is in English), and shrimp. I hope it was good. 

Okay, now onto the questions. It feels like a test now. "What was your favorite child hood memory of Christmas growing up? Are Christmases still the same as when you were young?"

Hm, my favorite childhood  memory has got to be the first Christmas I helped set up the Christmas tree. That day, I helped my aunt set up the tree, decorate it with lights, and put on ornaments. I have to say, it was the most Christmasy day that I have experienced my entire life. But that was more than 10 years ago. We stopped doing that alooong time ago. I feel old now. It will never be the same as when I was still young. As i got older, I just didn't feel the Christmas spirit anymore, more bigger reason was because I found out that Santa Claus wasn't real. I figured it out when I was in Kindergarten. I started to notice that there were lots of Santas, and the Santa that used to "visit" us at school changed colors every year. That fact kind of scared me, seriously. So yeah, that was the end of Christmas for me. Now, all my family does is have a feast. It's still alright. Well, I'm very sorry to upset you if you actually still believe in Santa, but you have to face the reality, and maybe grow up. I wrote a lot, but I just HAVE to say this one last thing. There's a party in Vivian's pants tonight, and you're all invited! Until next Friday!

Thurs. WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Alright! Whoo. So. Today's Christmas Eve. It doesn't feel very Christmasy, however. Since it's all sunny and everything. It feels more like... October. Oh well. I'm not really feeling the Christmas. That whole feeling's just not here this year.


So. My answer to the question of the week. Hm. I guess... I don't really have one? I mean, my family's pretty asian... but we did put up a tree. And my relatives did come over. But that was when I was a little kid. We haven't put up the tree for years. So... I guess I lost that feeling? And public schools don't really help with providing you with Christmas spirit. But if I had to choose, I guess it would be putting up the Christmas tree as a child. It was pretty fun. I got to throw the tinsel boa thingy at my brother and everything. And assembling all the ornaments and stuff. Yep. That's how I think Christmas should feel. But it hasn't felt that like that for years. Oh well. It'll come back when I go to college... I think.


So. Today was the big day at Amanda's house. Uh. So. Amanda made pasta with regular tomato sauce and alfredo sauce. Remember when the beanery had alfredo every Thursday last year? Good times, good times. Cindy made cookies. I helped! Godzillawoman/Vicki made wontons. How asian of her. They were magically delicious, though. Maria made spam musubi. Everyone loved that. And lastly, I made the most amazing item ever.

Hey, hey, hey. It was delicious. I felt white on the inside. Pretty awesome. And it's not my fault I can't use a stove. I was scarred as a kid. Emotionally and physically. Frying eggs is dangerous. Yep. Well. I think this post is getting really long. Until next week. VIVIAN OUT.

Wed. Excitedd?

Maria here on another Wednesday! This Thursday is ganna be kickass, I'm ganna be making some spankin Spam Musubi. I hope it turns out good cause I remember last time I made them I accidentally burnt the sauce, that was horrible!!! But other than that time, it tasted delicious. Stole the recipe off a facebook group. Haha. So BBB's I got a little gift in store for you guys tomorrow, and when I say little I mean little (kinda).

So for the question of the week; my Christmas was never really that special, we don't have a Christmas tree and for the present part my dad would just buy me and my brother whatever we wanted as long as it was reasonable. But I do remember this one time, I don't remember if it was during Christmas time or after but my dad was driving us to Lake Tahoe. And my dad started getting tired and since we wanted to play with snow real bad, he dropped my and my brother off at the first sight of snow, which was on side of the freeway LOL and let us play there for a while. The snow was all black and I didn't know if i should touch it LOL but I did anyways, it was my first time! I tried making a snowman like in the movies, but it was much harder and colder than I expected. That was a disappointment. Haha but it was fun. Christmas' are definitely not the same as when I was younger or at least I try not to make it. Haha, now every Christmas I try to persuade my parents to go to Stockton to have some family bonding time!

Chtistmas is coming in 2 days can you believe it?!! This Christmas I'm planning to go over to Stockton! It's ganna be pretty fun! Ganna be hanging with some younger kids and I got them some awesome Christmas gifts that I'm planning on wrapping after this blog/!!

Hahaaa So I came back from Tahoe/Reno yesterday; that was pretty epic. But the snowboarding sure got me hella sore. T_T I woke up with sore neck, legs, arms, Haha omg I was stiff the whole day!

Tues. Say Haaay.

Hayyy. Cindeezee here to give you something to read on this oh so boring Tuesday.  This Thursday I will be baking some chocolate chip cookies! Yummyy! :D Cookies aren't very healthy, though.  Oh well, I guess it'll balance out Amanda's healthy pasta. I'm using a recipe from a Splenda cookbook that my mom got on sale. Haha! No, I will not be using Splenda.  Thursday will be quite an adventure because I have no idea how these cookies will turn out. It's a MYSTERY.

So, my answer to this weeks question about what our favorite childhood Christmas memory is and if they're still the same... Well, I can honestly say that I cannot remember my Christmases very well. It's quite unfortunate. We never had that perfect Christmas tree. I think I did get gifts though. Then again, I don't remember them. I think Christmas just happens and then gets erased out of my memory. I should get that checked out with a doctor or something. But, usually, I got with my parents to eat at someone else's home. But, I think Christmas will be getting better and better as I get older. Definitely not the same as my younger days, but definitely getting better.

Fire alarm testing. :O It really is horrible. I thought my eardrums were gonna explode or something. And I'm going to be a good student and start on my homework. OH YEAH! I had this wonderful dream that my parents got me guitar hero for Christmas. Not gonna happen though. Haha. Anyways, I wish everybody a Happy Holidays! Adios, amigos!

Mon. MODERNWARFARE2. HECKYES!

Yess, guess who's back for another kick-butt monday?! For our Christmas feast this Thursday, I'm going be whipping out my chef apron and making a pasta dish. MMMM, nom nom nom! :3 It'll be like a party in your mouth, I swear. The pasta's going to have a healthy kick to it, which means tons of veggies. I'm not going to give away too much about the dish, you'll just have to keep posted to see the cooking process.
This week's question was: What was your favorite child hood memory of Christmas growing up? Are Christmases still the same as when you were young?
I remember one year we spent hours wrapping presents for my dad's whole crew and we'd have like a raffle and each of the workers would go and pick their present. Some of them got a hat, some got a whole box of cup noodles, and one lucky guy got a set of tools. (Vivian, please don't make a perverted joke out of that :D) And every year, my dad would make us open our gifts on boxing day which is the day after Christmas and every year, there would always be one heck of a heavy box from our cousin, Ray. Inside that box was like 10 pounds of snacks like Pocky sticks, gummies, chips, juice boxes, and basically anything else you could think of. Haha, I miss those times. Christmases are completely different now because we don't even put up our tree anymore. ): Sad face. But, no matter what, there'll always be an exchange of gifts & family dinner which is the most important thing.


So yeah, 4 more days until Christmas. I'm excited for some cooking & gift sharing. AND! One of the most important parts, MODERNWARFARE2 @ Eric & Patrick's house Friday & Saturday. HECK YES. :) Haha, well take care kids. Tooodles!

Fri. The Highlight of the Whole Week.

Hello! I know, it's finally my turn. I'm sure you all want to know why I chose to blog on Fridays. Well, the reason is because I think the best should be last. You know that saying, what's it called, "Save the best for last." Haha, no offense my fellow BBBs, but you know it's true. Okay, well this is kinda getting old, but I have to say it anyways. I'm fifteen and I live in California. Nah that's no good, I can describe myself in 5 words, like this. Vicki, 15, California, BBB, Future Ninja. Yes, I watched Ninja Assassin, good movie, maybe we can watch it together, but that's another day. I can say what I like in 5 words too. Pokemon, Friends, TV, Sleep, Procrastinating. Hah, if you ask me what my favorite Pokemon is, I'd say "My favorite Pokemon? Undecided, like your gender." I can't say this in 5 words, but this is what I like doing than those five things I just said. And that is speaking Chinglish with Amanda. One thing I just hate, like more than Miley Cyrus [I can't believe I just typed out her name] is when people spell my name wrong. It's not cool. So everybody, say it with me. Vee-Eye-See-Kay-Eye. NOT vee-eye-see-kay-why. No, that way of spelling my name is FTL.Okay, just saying it now, so you don't do it later. If you do, I might just have to kill you, using the way of the ninja.

Well I think that's all you need to know about me. For now. If you knew more, then you'd probably be a stalker, and that's no good. Remember to read my Friday blogs, because it's going to be epic. It will be better than reading your school books, that's for sure.

Thurs. BBB [Beyond Bloggerism Bros]

Alright. So it's finally Thursday. I know you guys have been waiting for my turn to start blogging.  Well, here I am. The wait is over. Okay. So. My name is Vivian. I actually wasn't going to start off telling you how old I am or where I live, but everyone else seems to be doing that, so I feel as if I have to conform. After all, it's the one who is different that gets left out in the cold. The truth is, I'm very young. But old enough to know that you're a creeper. And to hit you with a stick--in the dick--if you decide to stalk me or something. If you're a lady, I respect your courage, but I just don't roll that way. Anyway, I live in the United States. Hmm. HOoollaa guys and girlss! My names Maria and I will be the highlight of your wed-ne-sdays? is that how you spell it? Hahha. So yea, I'm fifteeeeen and livin in SF. Hanging out with my friends and just having a good time is what I like, I enjoy making people laugh? haha, I also enjoy running, and eating my happy food (seaweed)/sushi. YUMM. I luhhhhvee my friends, they are what makes me, mee. They're always there to listen and help me out during rough times. Music also helps soothe, haha.

Tues. Cindy's Intro!

Hey, everybody! Welcome, welcome! My name is Cindy and I will be taking care of the Tuesday Blog. I hope you enjoy it! First off, I'm 15 years old and I was not born, but raised on the wonderful West Coast.  I like being happy and making the people around me happy. I enjoy listening to music 24/7. Literally, it's always playing in my head, Idk about dreams though. I like to enjoy my life and take things easy.  I'm patient and I hope I'm kind, but that's up to others, not me. I don't like to judge people if I don't know them. I get lazy sometimes, but I know how to bounce back.  I love hanging out with my awesome friends, which include the members of this blog.  I love spending time with family as well.

Hi, hello, my name is Amanda and I'll be your weekly dose of Monday, every Monday. *Sticks out hand for a handshake* Uhm, y-yeah, you're suppose to shake that. Ha, alrighty, moving on. Let's get to the basics, I'm fifteen, female, and I live in San Francisco, California. 

I'm generally a happy person and I don't like to drown myself with drama and sorrows, that's just not me. It never hurts to always have a smile on your face. It takes more energy to frown than it does to smile. That's a fact. I like to surround myself with uplifting people like my fellow bloggers. I guess you can say I'm witty and funny, but I can't say for myself. I'm not a mean grumpy person like my PE teacher. I don't bite, and I try to love everyone I meet.

BeyondBloggerism is a collaboration blog created by five friends who wanted to try something new, to have fun, and to just blog. Each of us have been assigned a day of the week in which they will answer the weekly question or document the challenge then blog about it. The blog also includes things that are happening currently in our lives. Amanda is Monday, Cindy is Tuesday, Maria is Wednesday, Vivian is Thursday, and Vicki is Friday. Every Sunday, one of us is going to come up with a daily question that everyone will answer in their blog on their given day.
